Our Story

We are Diane and Ian Barker and we hope you enjoy our chalet homes on the cliff top at Sandown Bay.

We are semi retired and live nearby in the village of Godshill, having moved back to the Island in 2017. Ian is from Shanklin, grew up in a guest house there, and went to the local school just a mile or so from the chalet site. Diane’s an overner but has lived and worked on the Island over the course of her career in Education.

Moving back to the Island to retire has been a really good thing to do. There is a lovely slow-paced lifestyle, and we have time to be involved with local activities, as well as run our chalets.
